“I joined Solutions for the Planet Youth Insights because I want to use my voice to help shape a more sustainable future. I’m excited to share ideas, learn from others, and contribute to real-world solutions that can make a difference.”
Elianna is a Year 12 student at Pate’s Grammar School, currently studying Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Chinese. Alongside their A Levels, they are completing an EPQ exploring process engineering and industrial scalability, reflecting a strong interest in how scientific ideas can be applied to real-world challenges.
They enjoy problem-solving and thinking creatively, and have taken part in a range of opportunities including engineering and cyber work experience, maths modelling challenges, and youth insight programmes. They are also involved in mentoring through Language Leaders and contribute to school life as a House Official.
Outside of academics, Elianna has developed resilience and discipline through activities such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and ballet, where they have achieved recognition in competitions. These experiences have helped them build confidence, teamwork and a strong work ethic.
Through Solutions for the Planet Youth Insights, Elianna is looking forward to working with others, sharing ideas, and helping organisations better understand young people’s perspectives. They are particularly interested in sustainability, innovation, and creating solutions that have a positive impact on the future.
