Sami is passionate about ensuring every young person sees themselves in the climate and sustainability conversation. Growing up as an asylum seeker, he rarely saw people like him represented in environmental spaces. This has driven his commitment to making climate action relevant, inclusive, and empowering for all young people.

Alongside his work with Solutions for the Planet, Sami is a strategy consultant and has a portfolio of Non-Executive roles and has authored youth-led research for New Philanthropy Capital. He has facilitated national conferences and regularly contributes to discussions on equity and sustainability in national media.

Solutions for the Planet’s values of responsibility, integrity, curiosity, and collaboration align closely with his own. He believes that by giving young people the tools, support, and platforms to lead, we can create a more socially, economically, and environmentally sustainable future.
