Rachel has over a decade of experience in environmental education and engagement, working for the education charity SOS-UK. In that time, Rachel collaborated with universities in the UK and across Europe on the issues of energy use, fuel poverty and sustainability. Most recently, Rachel has moved into the world of non-profit operations, working for the digital rights campaigning organisation Open Rights Group as their Operations Manager, with a focus on finance and HR. Rachel is also a Trustee for the Conflict and Environment Observatory (CEOBS), which works to reduce the harm to people and ecosystems from armed conflicts and military activities.
Rachel is from South London, but now lives in Leeds. She enjoys walking the family dogs, Stella and Ada, in the local country park, learning Italian, and working her way through her never-ending to-read pile.
