“I first came across Solutions for the Planet when taking part in the Big Ideas competition back in 2016. The competition inspired me to think about my impact on the world, and careers and work which are bigger than one company, or just making profit, but actually improving things for people and the world around us. I’ve since done and continue to do lots of volunteering with students and young people, trying to give back in the same way people at Solutions for the Planet gave back to me, and am a director of The Legacy Project, a student-founded social mobility organisation. I am a fundraiser at Independent Age, the national charity for older people in poverty, and love my job and the feeling of playing a small part in improving things for people!

I’m really grateful for the opportunity to have reconnected with the inspiring team at Solutions for the Planet, and be a judge for the same competition which played such a big part in my own development!

In my spare time I’m training for my eleventh belt for Modern Arnis (Filipino martial art!), learning Arabic and most recently, learning to knit!”
