“I’m continuing on the panel because, as my legal studies progress, I’ve found a natural alignment between my academic interests and the work of Solutions for the Planet. The opportunity to contribute to its strategic direction, while shaping conversations around youth empowerment, is one I find both intellectually demanding and deeply rewarding.”
Mohamed Bouamama is an LLB Law student at SOAS, University of London, with a considered and enduring interest in law, governance, and social impact—particularly in the role of law in shaping more sustainable futures. Through his studies, he has developed a discerning appreciation for the manner in which legal frameworks and collaborative initiatives may intersect to produce meaningful and lasting change.
He is especially drawn to spaces that convene diverse perspectives, and has engaged extensively in Model United Nations, where he has demonstrated a capacity for measured judgment, articulate expression, and the navigation of complex and, at times, divisive international questions with impartiality and composure.
Beyond his academic pursuits, Mohamed maintains a strong affinity with the natural world, finding particular enjoyment in hiking and travel, pursuits which both ground and enrich his perspective. Solutions for the Planet sits at a natural intersection of his interests, reflecting a sincere commitment to youth empowerment and to enabling young people to contribute to innovative solutions with tangible, real-world impact.
