“All we want is to make the world a better place”

I was inspired to be a part of the Young Innovators Council because it seemed like an interesting concept, which I had not seen done before. As well as the overall idea which drew me in, it also felt like something I could do to help make an impact on the prominent climate crisis.   

I hope through this council we can help change the way this company and others approach sustainability for the better. Plus, I want to learn more about the things we are doing to help the environment and how we can improve these processes too, for a healthier future.   

I think young people’s engagement with these sorts of issues is vital and definitely something adults should listen to. Not only can we provide fresh insights, but soon it will be our turn in the hot seat making these crucial decisions. Therefore, the more we know now, the better prepared we will be for the future.
