S4TP Youth Insights Panels are typically open to young people aged 14 to 19 who are interested in sharing their views, influencing real business decisions and developing valuable skills for their future. No previous experience is required. Participants work alongside other young people to provide feedback and ideas to businesses and organisations on topics that matter to their generation, while gaining experience that can enhance their CV, university applications and future career prospects. 

Yes. Taking part demonstrates initiative, communication skills, collaboration and engagement with real organisations. Many young people use the experience to enhance their CV, personal statement, LinkedIn profile or apprenticeship applications.  

Young people can develop presentation skills, public speaking confidence, teamwork, active listening, research skills, professional communication and the ability to express ideas effectively in a business environment.
