“Solutions for the Planet works to empower young people in understanding how incredible, capable, and creative they are. Not only is there an opportunity for young people to learn about sustainability and STEM, but for everyone else involved to learn from their fresh and innovative perspectives.”

As someone who was a young person passionate about having my voice heard, I am so excited to work with young people to facilitate a space where this is possible surrounding sustainability and the environment. Having worked with young people in a school as an LSA and as a coordinator at a Students’ Union working with student activists who were passionate about issues around social justice, such as race, disability, the welfare of young people, and environmentalism, I am continuously inspired by the drive, wonder, and spirit that young people have.

Solutions for the Planet works to bring this all to a space where young people are taken seriously and are guided by teachers and business mentors to have the necessary tools to discover their potential and see how they can bring about change and meaning to the communities around them! My role in this would be to bring together students, teachers, and businesses to work together so young people can create sustainable solutions around what they care about.

Where I can, I try to take the time to breathe with trees, go for walks and spend time with my friends and family (usually in the form of playing games).
