Students received a fantastic welcome from the University’s student ambassadors with Tian Barratt of the outreach team welcoming the schools and sharing the impressive and innovative research and actions the university are taking in the field of sustainability.

Posted onSolutions for the Planet kicked off the Big Ideas Competition 2019 Regional Finals yesterday with the first, which was held at the University of Glasgow seeing teams from Biggar High School and Larbert High School bring their fantastic ideas to our second ever Scotland Regional Final!

The programme and the students on it simply would not be the same if we didn’t have this mentor support from our business and community partners, and the mentors themselves get an awful lot out of it too.
