Louise LeVell

Starting her career as a French teacher, Louise then undertook further study to specialise in SEMH (Special Emotional Mental Health), working primarily with young people excluded from mainstream education.

As Lead Teacher for PSHEE (Personal, Social, Health & Economic Education) & SEAL (Social & Emotional Aspects of Learning), Louise integrated wellbeing practice into her lessons. She aimed to empower young people to restore their own self-belief & self-worth, with a wish for them to live healthy, happy lives in meaningful, fulfilling work.

After 23 years in teaching, I took the final opportunity to be a stay-at-home mom to my son for a year! Then in a double leap of faith, I began writing & performing comedy AND decided to launch as a Freelance Education Consultant! I love & value this portfolio career I have built for myself, prioritising work that is meaningful & that empowers young people.

S4TP approached me to host two of their ‘Big Ideas 2024’ Regional Final events, which I thoroughly enjoyed & was truly blown away with the concepts that the young people had envisioned & then researched in such detail! I am thrilled to now join the team as an Associate Facilitator.
