“I’m excited to be part of a programme that exposes children to STEM. For me, living in a very small rural part of Wales, we didn’t have these opportunities. I would encourage all children to invest a little bit of time into considering whether a STEM career might be for them.”

What do I do: I am new to my role at Tarmac, where I am spending two years exploring the different sections within the Land and Natural Resources team to get a detailed overview of the departments before choosing a final destination role.

A bit about me: I’m a massive foodie – I love cooking, baking, being creative with food and flavours. I enjoy walking around food markets and watching cookery programmes like the Great British Bake Off. I’ve got a Border Collie called Phoebe who is full of fun and energy and loves taking me for long walks along the beaches. I’m a keen scuba diver too and love the ocean.
