“The Big Ideas programme is a fantastic way to prove that students have the best solutions when it comes to future sustainability. The programme has a proven record of helping to develop skills, confidence and entrepreneurial instincts in the students that get involved. I cannot wait to help students develop their ideas. I love pitching ideas so I aim to bring out the expert presenter inside every team member”

What do I do: I work with the wider business to influence, collaborate and promote the engagement with our stakeholders (stakeholders range from MPs and councillors, to charities, contractors, local services and industry experts). To do this I have to identify who our stakeholders are, meet with them and identify solutions for successful engagement. In short, I listen to and engage with many people across the business and beyond to better support communities that SGN interact with.

A bit about me: I have recently got a super cute puppy that keeps me very busy. Other than taking him for lots of walks, I regularly go to stadiums to watch live sport (e.g. I recently went to see a Six Nations rugby match at Twickenham), I like city breaks in Europe, trying new technology and playing cricket for my local team.
