“I have mentored pupils in schools in the past for events such as Presenting Competitions, Mock Interview Practice and Crucial Crews (where we explain the dangers of gas to primary school students). So when I heard about this programme I thought this was another great way of broadening the pupil’s horizons and giving them an opportunity to express any Big Ideas they may have.”

What do I do: I work in our IT (Information Technology) Department, managing several IT projects. This could be anything from upgrading our IT equipment, to upgrading our Infrastructure and in doing so also ensuring that the projects we carry out are both in line with our long term strategy but also up to date with technology today.

A bit about me: I love travelling to different countries and experiencing different cultures. There’s so much more of the world I want to see, which I’m ticking off one by one! When I’m not travelling, I love spending time with my family and friends, especially as I live away from home, so I make sure I make time to go and visit my family.
