“I’m continually impressed by the knowledge, creativity and maturity of the students – Hopefully, I can match this level of enthusiasm for current critical issues.”

What do I do: I’m training on the technical stream of Tarmac’s graduate programme – I move between different labs and facilities learning all things materials and testing, relating to the asphalt and concrete we produce.

A bit about me: I’m a massive building materials geek – I’ve worked in the University of Bristol (in limestone geology) and I’ve had the privilege to work on a wide range of building conservation projects (including the Clifton Suspension Bridge and Fulham Palace). I’m also a keen sailor and enjoy hiking in the incredible scenery across the UK.
