BEE Aware

November 25, 2020

“The rapid decrease in the bee population is becoming a major problem in not only the UK, but the world. Bees pollinate 1/3 of our global food supply; therefore if we lose the brilliant bees completely, humans would have only 4 years to live. Plus, honey bees are the world’s most important pollinator and collectively all bees pollinate 70 of around 100 crop species. This is why we believe a world without bees is an undesirable option because it would have devastating consequences.”

“Overall, our big idea is to increase the population of bees and promote our idea across the globe. As well as doing this, we will share our cause to people by giving out an educational pack (also with a DIY flower garden with a variety of seeds) and provide a nature friendly habitat for animals as well as bees. Our idea consists of a variety of individual sectors, which will collectively, in our opinion, successfully overcome our ever-growing problem.”

“Throughout our bee saving process, the nation will benefit from our idea. Once the population of bees grows, there will be a possibility that prices may reduce when food will be easier to come across therefore becoming more affordable and thus reducing starvation.”
