“The Yorkshire teams have looked at such a diverse range of Big Ideas and its brilliant to see that young people are concerned about so many of the pressing issues in the world today.  Selecting our semi-finalists was probably my toughest day at work this year as there were just so many brilliant and exciting ideas to choose between! I can’t wait to see our 22 semi-finalists present at Leeds University in May and I do hope many of our other teams continue to work on their Big Ideas outside the competition.  Grand effort Yorkshire!” Jess Mitchell, Yorkshire Programme Coordinator
